PNANH joined the inspiring 39th Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA) NAtional convention with a delegation led by President Ira Martins. Lani Macusi, Vi Trinidad Dioneda and PNANH's past President Jennilyn Lano. The team was sent off with love from the rest of the Executive Board. Adding to the fun was the get together teamwork led by Honey Nettle, Ludy DeLeon and Cecilia Mendoza, who helped and designed the haute couture avant garde outfits made out of recycled and discarded hospital supplies. PNANH was also awarded first place in membership and 2nd place in Educational CEUs.

PNANH 7th Anniversary Gala and Induction of 2018-2020 Executive Board
PNANH marked its 7th Anniversary and induction of Executive Board 2018-2020. It was truly an inspiring night graced by powerhouse leaders of area hospitals in the North side of Houston. Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA) President Dino Doliente and PNAA South Central Region President Romy Devera were in attendance as well who flew in from California and Miami respectively. The Executive Board of 2016-2018 led by Jennilyn Lano, president, showcased their many achievements, community outreach programs, and free educational offerings. Continuing the organization's legacy of reaching out to all area hospitals' Filipino-American Nurses to develop their leadership potentials and influence engagement. Keith Barber, CEO, Methodist Willowbrook Hospital acknowledged the role of PNANH in achieving the hospital's Magnet Designation."Our Hospital cultivated many leaders from this organization. PNANH members are role models not just to fellow professionals but to the community at large."
Passing the baton to incoming President Ira Martin culminated the event. A leader of great conviction, Ira will have the task to continue the organization's legacy and with a strong Executive Board, the members can only expect a much bigger PNANH in the healthcare community.
Also in attendance was the Vice President and Chief Nurse Officer of CHI ST. Luke's the Vintage, Val Howell, whose support to this organization goes all the way back in 2011.
