A night of EXCELLENCE! PNANH 5th year Anniversary and 2016-2018 of PNANH EB board
On June 25, 2016 Philippine Nurses Association of North Houston celebrated its 5 year anniversary with the official induction of its 2016-2018 Executive Board. To lead the Executive Board is Jennilyn Lano of Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, who is one of the 20 original members and pillar of the organization. She served the organization as co chairman of Membership Committee. Graced by members and nursing leaders of Houston, PNANH induction and gala highlighted the accomplishments of the organization under the leadership of outgoing president, Cristina DImafiles. The celebration also feature awards and recognition of members. The first PNANH Nurse Excellence Awardees based on their exemplar practice in nursing are:

Gay Mabida: Methodist Willowbroook Hospital
Rosie Marquez: St. Luke's Woodlands Hospital
Elisa Diozon: Memorial Hermann Woodlands

While 2016 Presidential Awardees went to:
Lourdes DeLeon (second time in a row): Methodist Willowbrook Hospital
Emily Linang: MD Anderson Cancer Center
Delia Bell: Houston Methodist Hospital.
It was a night of inspiration as leaders from Houston led by Dr. Riza Mauricio who was the brain in the creation of PNANH and the night's guest speaker.
Guests were treated with nurses in elegant gowns who dared to walk the catwalk.
